I’ve just come back from a meeting with the manager who interview me last week, and turned me down for the post of Management Accounts Assistant, and I have to say I feel a little better. I’m still so gutted I didn’t get the job BUT the manager said that I interviewed great, she was impressed that I was chatty, friendly and bubbly, and I wasn’t afraid to ask when I didn’t understand something, its just that’s the person who beat me to it has more experience in a finance environment (whereas I work in IT doing a finance role)
She said she’s actually spoken to the Assistant Director about me, and that if anything were to come up in the future she would want them to know I would be interested and I would be a good candidate for employment. So I guess in that respect, iv gained the fact that they know who I am, know I’m keen, know I interview well and would be a good person to employ, so that gets me ahead of the game slightly!
So feeling slightly positive, I’m gonna get some lunch!

The Company is the company I work for at the mo, just a different department! so thats even better. I work in IT and this was for Finance!
